For College or University students interested in pursuing a professional career as an Industrial Arts or CTE teacher. Students may be awarded up to $1500 in scholarship money. |

For teachers in Industrial Arts or CTE who are looking for the funds to create new programs, shop areas, or activities for their students. Up to $1000 may be awarded for each qualifying proposal. |
|
Sponsored by the Abrams Foundation, teachers and their students can qualify for up to a $750 grant to attend a workshop, technical session, or specialized training in Industrial Technology. |
|
For any graduating high school student interested in pursuing a professional career as an Industrial Arts or CTE teacher. Up to four $500 scholarships are awarded each year. |

The purpose of these awards is to recognize students, teachers, administrators, and schools that provide exemplary programs in industrial technology, technology education, and career / technical education. Individual awards may be made at the elementary, middle school, high school, and career / technical levels up to $1000.

Students pursuing an IX, TX, or VT certification at a college or university in Michigan or Indiana are eligible to compete in the Future Teacher categories of the competition. Both categories will be judged by current and retired teachers or professors in the Industrial Technology field. Judging will take place on Friday, May 7, 2010.
