AM-5 CAD Rapid Prototype Models

Dynamic Assembly

Rules for Category:

Any multiple part rapid prototype assembly model that shows movement between mating parts within the assembly. These are models made from CAD data and completed as a solid 3-D model. Parts within the assembly may be held together by designing the parts to be printed within each other but provide movement. Parts may also be held together by using purchased fasteners, fasteners created by the modeling machine, and/or may also be snapped together. It is REQUIRED that the assembly model shows dynamic motion of the parts within the assembly. No drawings will be on the front of the project. Model not to exceed 18” X 18”.
