Any project that uses a microprocessor/microcontroller base. This includes all computer-interfaced projects, PIC based projects or other microcontroller based projects. Robot kits of any type are not allowed. FIRST robotic contest projects are not eligible in this category. All programming must be done by the student completing the project – preprogrammed microcontrollers are not eligible.
