Rules for Category:

Any part or parts 3 mm thick or less, such as surface development drawing of sheet metal or plastic that may have a practical application, OR ASBE Design Challenge print (American Society of Body Engineers). The drawing may include any combination of CAD isometric views (pictorial), assembly, exploded assembly, shaded views, orthographic views, section views, or auxiliary views. Shading, rendering, or color fills allowed ONLY on pictorial views, otherwise black line drawing views only. Parts callouts, parts list, and balloons are acceptable, but not required. Judging shall be on the total scope of the project. An orthographic drawing must be attached to the back of the project.
